Organizational Overview
Fresh Start Rescue is a foster‑based, volunteer‑driven animal rescue located in Burnsville, Minnesota. We are committed to providing safe, temporary homes for animals in need and supporting their journey toward a fresh start. Our work is grounded in compassion, transparency, and responsible stewardship of the animals and communities we serve.
In addition to rescue and foster operations, Fresh Start Rescue is committed to supporting our community through accessible services such as low‑cost vaccine clinics, microchip events, pet food pantry assistance, and educational programs. As we grow, we aim to expand these offerings to help keep pets healthy, supported, and with the families who love them.
Fresh Start Rescue operates as a Minnesota nonprofit organization and is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors who provide oversight, strategic direction, and accountability.
